1. Remove the seat - held on with two bolts.
2. Remove the left side frame cover - held on with one screw.
3. Disconnect battery negative terminal.
4. Remove tool box cover and tool kit.
5. Remove tool box body and lock bracket - held on with 3 screws.
6. Disconnect battery positive terminal.
7. Remove battery.
You will then be able to see the fluid level in the battery cells, and be able to fill each cell to the correct level with distilled water.
